Kappa Alpha Theta is proud to host multiple events a year to fundraise for Child Advocates of Silicon Valley (CASV), a part of a larger national organization called Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). CASA mentors and speaks for the 170,000 abused and neglected children who have been temporarily placed under the supervision of the court system for their own safety. CASA pairs individual children with trained volunteers who represent them in court and support them through an arduous court process, ensuring that each child will grow up in a healthy, safe, and loving environment.
Our largest fundraising event is called Theta Breakers, a 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run on the Stanford University campus. Stanford students, faculty, alums, and community members are all welcome to participate and support a great cause!
